  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

BEAR ONE ANOTHER'S BURDENS
By Vonette Bright

"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ"(Galations 6:2.)

In 2004 Hurricane Charley destroyed 12,000 homes in Central Florida.

Church members in Kissimmee rushed to help senior residents in a trailer park. They picked up debris, cut up fallen trees, rebuilt screen rooms, and offered comfort. They carried the burdens of others like Galatians 6:2 urges.

Two weeks later, a group from the trailer park visited the church. They thanked the members for their help. One woman from the trailer park spoke with the pastor afterwards. She wanted to know how she could have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Isn't that what the Christian life is all about? When you become more Christ-like in serving others, they will notice! God will work through you to invite people to a living relationship with Him.

Help carry someone's burden today and share God's love.
