This doesn't prove the Bible true. They didn't create the man-made island by saying 'be removed and cast into the sea' to a mountain. Even if you take it metaphorically, it doesn't prove the Bible is true (it has been demonstrated before in many threads that this type of argument of yours is fallacious).

You're really grasping at straws here John. The Bible says nothing about using technology and years to do it. It says ask the mountain to move and it will. Stop making Christianity look stupid please. You are making yourself look ridiculous using such desparate tactics to validate the Bible.

It's self-selection in action. To be a biblical literalist a person must be able to switch off his reason to block out any contrary information or logic. Anyone without this ability would not choose a fundamentalist religion or would leave soon after joining. Ergo, all biblical literalists have this ability, which is why you will never see a biblical literalist with many nice things to say about reason and science.
