I feel like something of an impostor by visiting and posting at this section of CF, yet I feel most at home here. I won't bemoan the latest developments in my marriage except to say that it is not moving in a direction that gives glory to God. Still, I can say that He's been faithful to show me His hand and His love. He brings to my remembrance so many wonderful truths...
"For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him."
(Not that I can claim to be "fully committed", but I strive towards it...)
"For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all."
(If only we could grasp how LIGHT and MOMENTARY our troubles are in comparison with what lies ahead...)
"You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. "
(Does that fact inspire a holy fear in anyone besides me? Nobody knows me the way He does. Yet He loves me...?!?!?!? Dang.)
"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."
(Be still. Be still. Be still...)
