Im learning through Kenneth Copelands booklet The Power to be Forever FREE that we must control the flesh through empowering the spirit. By attending to the Word (diciplining ourselves to read each day) we will feed our spirit man and put to death the desires and lusts of our flesh. He says, "I learned that the living Word of Almighty God is the only power that can cause me to think, look, talk and act like a born-again man. It's the only thing that can emppower me to discipline this flesh of mine. When I saw Jesus in the Word, I was totally set free, not only of the habit, but of the desire!
