I have been a fan since way back. It is so frackin' better the disco-era trype fest. Seasons 1 and 2 were brilliant.
The first two this season were good but not great, maybe they will get their space legs as time goes by. In the face of overwhelming evil there must be a call to nobility. This was the charge of Adama, President Roslin and Apollo, most notably. Likewise there must be a call to moral ambiguity as is Col. Tigh, his wife and Starbuck. Finally, there must be a weak minded protangonist in the form of Baltar.
The real story belongs to the Cylons as they ask, "Who am I?"
In a way, America must face this same question in Iraq. Like it or not American leadership is, in some ways, a mirror of the Cylon leadership. Watching this season may not be easy but in the end it will be a cathartic necessity.
