My personal opinion I don't think that Apollo is gonna get shot out of the airlock.
Does anyone else think that the Exo's wife is a Cylon? even if Baltar said she was'nt he lies about everyone else being a Cylon, why not her?

Rock out!

She might be, but I think she is just a really, really, bad human being. Her rescue story is pretty convenient though. Maybe a cylon saved her as part of 'the plan'.

I would say its a definite possibility, Cylons who mimick humans tend to seek out things that give them a thrill, such as sex. Plus shes the XO's wife and she inquires alot about the regular operations of the Galactica.

Her rescue story is pretty convenient though.
thats also why its quite possible she is

The Tye's wife is annoying. Seriously. She bugs me and I wish they'd get rid of her character.
Agreed

Colonel Tigh is cool, but is wife seriously bugs me.

I don't like her either, but she's too much of a.......well, can't say it on CF to be a cylon. The Cylons like sex, yes, but they seem to have some dignity unlike Ellen Tigh. She's more like a female Baltar.

Some speculation on my part:

Is it possible they will execute Boomer but then have Starbuck bring back the pregnant cylon from Caprica? Keeping Grace Park busy but creating a logical....oh yeah, this is a sci-fi series, nevermind. :)

This is the best sci-fi show I have seen in a long time and I can't wait for July.

Remember that there are only a few cylon models that look human. There are however many copies. I don't remember seeing one that looked like her in the cylon mini parade near the beginning of the series.

I think they said there were nine versions, and we've only seen about five. Two evil men, #6, Sharon, and possibly one of the Adamas. That's either four or five still out there.

I'm surprised that so many people feel Apollo did something wrong. He tried to prevent a military overthrow of the government. I doubt that they'll throw him out of an airlock, especially when they're so short on pilots.

I'm not surprised. There is always a tension between two factions. A movie I saw with Burt Lancaster called "Twilight's Last Gleaming" is an example of the tension. One rogue general and his men wanting to overthrow the civil authority because they believed the civilian authority were on the road to destruction appeasing the Russians. I know, old story. In the end the general failed. After the release of the movie there were people on both sides of the issue. I guess there will always be.

Er . . . no, I meant on this site, not in the show. I understand how the military works, and while illegal orders aren't supposed to be followed, loyalty to the commander is more important.

However, the people on this board seem to think that morally, Apollo did something wrong. I think he stood up against an illegal seizure of power that happened just because someone didn't like what someone else had said. I think he's in the right of it.

Oh boy - I just hired out the DVDs of the series and watched it all in a few days. I am hugely impressed, what a show!

The sense of darkness and despair, the confusion, even the best people being petty and falling out - just as would be the case with the last remnant of humanity desperately struggling to survive. The acting, action, effects, characters and sub-plots have all been as good as I have hoped, but I was astounded by the scale of the meta-narrative. Prophacies, God (especially the cylon's deep faith, isn't that intreging?), even a new 'holy child' thing at the end. I was expecting none of this, and am truely impressed by the imagination and ambition of the writers.

As for Apollo - there is no way they will kill him for that. He might well be severely disciplined though, which is understandable as the military needs to enforce disciple, even though I have a lot of sympathy with what he did.

About the Cylons beliveing in God.
Does'nt that mean Bad guys believe in God.
Me and My Mom were just thinking of that.

James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

1 Tim 4:1 ...giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

You just have to watch out for their doctrine... devils and cylons both.;)

Great show....I have been thinking "God" that the Cylons mention could actually be another Cylon just called God...Number 6 tends to speak as if he were a physical person rather than a Deity sometimes. Cant wait for the new show. If Adama were a Cylon...what about his son?
