Man, I cannot stand RATM. The band's whiney/communistic politics plus a joke of a guitarist in Tom Morello. However, innovation, energy, and vision have it. RATM get my vote.

It stands for Rage Against The Machine. The were (they broke up a couple of years ago) a radical libertarian left rap-rock group. And before you groan at 'rap-rock', they were one of the few bands ever to pull this style off without being embarasing - in fact they were fantastic.
