I love Baroque music! It's not my favorite genre in Classical at this time (that goes more toward Renaissance or Impressionistic) but I still very much enjoy listening to it.

Jean-Joseph Cassanea de Mondonville is a Baroque composer who is not as well known as he should be. His Pièces de clavecin avec voix et violon, Opus 5 is amazing.

Ombra mai fu - Händel - Serse is a great piece of music and I don't even understand it. I think you can have classical music without having opera.
