Angelwind,
yes you may ask,

"I have been thinking much of the Holy Spirit lately too...my I ask if you are anorexic...I was for a while in my early 40's..."

Yes i am.... was as a teenager, took a back seat for a long while then something triggered it,, i will admit that ther where a few yers that were not the best in betrween but not tkie thus,,,,not nearly like this..i have lost most of my hair, almost gave myself a heart attack, i could go on, and never wanted to get better, until now....oh my eyesight..so if my typing or if i do not make sense at times we know why, :prayer: :prayer: :prayer: that i will get into www.renfrew.org by weeks end, if not before.

angelwind, also wanted to mention that i am sorry that you are going through you health problems, while i feel i bring mine on myself, although is that guilt? and yours is not self inflicted, i will pray for your health, as you deserve you be healed,,,,may the Lord shime on you always.
This is interesting tho...because I "starved" enough to break down my health too...not like you...but I do believe those starving months did me much harm...I am not anorexic now...one key to my healing was to repent and ask the Lord's forgiveness for trying to bump myslef off...it was not a conscience thing at the time...it took a while for me to see this and I had a true repentance...still took quite a while to recover from the effects of starving...the body changes so much.

Wanting to get better is good...that is what happened to me too.

Oh dear, this is so very sad.
GOD made you beautiful sister. Perfect. From the beginning. This involves ALOT more than just outward standard beauty as we commonly know it. As for perfection, man is not worthy to set the bar for "perfection".
Most people dont realize the great extremes GOD has gone to for you to just know him. Now. Here. In this time.
YOU are made in the image of the creator! Genesis 1:27: "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." Every little detail of yourself GOD created works perfectly without you even realizing it. How vastly complex and perfect your entire inner organ system is for example. For you! So you can live as a human made in his image with the amazing brain you have that contains more neuron connections than every network and computer together on the planet earth to create and wonder and ponder all there is in God's creation. Just take this organ system, and think about a couple of the perfect things GOD gave you. Like the liver. The liver, YOUR liver was created perfect! It filters out the bad and unwanted things that you dont even realize you have, (imagine if yur mind ha to do this on its own? You would be pretty busy!) and stores sugar and vitamins so your body can use them when ever it needs to do so. All of this goes on without your conscience mind even realizing it! We could go on and on about your beautiful hands and thumb so unlike antything or creature there has ever been, or your eyes that contain over 125 million rods and cones, lenses and millions of perfect neurons... its more complex than the most advanced camera lens created by man! Perfect! You can use these amazing perfectly created devices perfectly! without realizing it! The human ear is another marvel among the thousands on or in your body, your ears are created with the ability for you to detect presure variations of less than one-billionth in atmospheric pressure. The ear adjust to air vibratons you cant see or even realize are there, This incredible sensitivity is enhanced by pefect amplification of the sound signal being recieved by the outer and middle ear structures that are made perfect, on you and your children and everyone else that GOD made in his image. When you eat any kind of the millions of variations of fruits, and veggies and meats and all the other great things GOD also made just for you, your body does more than you can even imagine without you even realizing it, regardless if you realize it! Or even can, PERFECTLY!!!
In genesis 2:7 "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." In the ground you walk on everyday, in the dirt in your back yard, there contains all the vitamins and minerals you are and that makes you literally YOU! Then to make it so amazing, (if thats nor amazing enough in itself) is that you BECAME a living soul! Because of his love. In this digital self-producing perfect thing GOD created called DNA, you are made perfect!!! Its what you and your children and your mother and father and friends and everyone are. We are made up of 46 chromosomes, 23 from your father, and 23 from your mother. This was no accident! Its from GODS Love! Perfect..and all we have to do with our sinful and selfish conscious mind is to love him back! ..and try to learn to honor that image, that we so conviently unknowingly bare every second of this physical life, whenever we can.
This world we live in today is evil and confusing. Unlike GOD. GOD gave us the ability to choose base on environmental influinces that make up our conscious personalities. This reason and choosing is not perfect unike our phyisial selves. Man does not set the "standdard" for physical perfectness. GOD did that when he created Adma and Eve! Regardless of the past and how someone was, he also gave us the complete ability to GROW from it in whatever way we will be stronger for him, closer to him, mentally , physically, or both! You have the ability inside of you, from the digital code that makes you! Which means GOD won if YOU choose to use these things! Not the evils of the world. You and GOD will win if you choose to make it happen. If you use the gifts he gave you in your life. This means ALL kinds of gifts. Physically, mentally, and situations.
If one can come into this world perfectly created, in todays unbelievably evil chaotic environment, and can be corrupted and influenced by all there is to darken your very spirit, and still THROUGH HIS GRACE come out on top, well then thats a pretty remarkable thing AMEN?
This world is MADE for you to fail. To fall on your face thinking selfishly that all there is to life is what you see through sinful eyes. The TRUE world is hidden in the heavens, and science that is your very essence! Its hiden in GODS love and grace. But through him and his amazingly complex and PERFECT plan, you too can see this. Can know this.Only GODs WAYS and judgments are perfect. Your ways are not. Just look to his word and the things he has blessed you with in your life and you will come out of the world victorious, otherwise, just another lost empty CONFUSED SOUL that got tossed aside in this evil corrupted world.

I feel for you my sisters in Christ so very much. I really care for each and everyone of you. Allthough I cant even begin to imagine what you are all going through, I wish I could take all the pain and confusion and worries of your everyday lives and bury them myself. but I cant, this is your paths GOD put you on. and through the faith in the Lord, that strength through Jesus, with love and understanding, support from friends and family, knowledge and understanding, you will come out on top!
GOD made it that way! PERFECTLY!!!

GOD bless you ALL!!!

"Thou shalt not kill"

"Thou shalt not kill" (Exodus 20:13 KJV) The Sixth Commandment
Many over the centuries have used "thou shalt not kill" to justify pacifism, or "conscientious objectors" in the military, or opposition to capital punishment for those who committed heinous crimes. And yet, if they read all of the Bible, Old Testament and New Testament, they would see that there were occasions when God not only permitted the taking of human lives, but commanded it. Examples:
tencom.jpg

"And he said unto them, Thus saith The Lord God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour" (Exodus 32:27 KJV) "Thus saith The Lord of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass." (1 Samuel 15:2-3 KJV)
God is not a hypocrite. He means what He says, and says what He means - consistently. When the Israelites were given the Sixth Commandment, they knew from everyday life that it prohibited murder, not lawful killing, such as in self-defense, or in defense of one's nation, within legally-prescribed rules. In matters of criminal law, the guilty were punished in kind - in ancient times, prisons were merely places where accused people were held until trial and punishment - prisons were not the punishment itself. Murderers were put to death, not, ironically, and unjustly, sentenced to life:

"the murderer shall surely be put to death" (Numbers 35:17 KJV)
What is the Christian view, according to the Scriptures, on murderers?

"no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him" (1 John 3:15 KJV) "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death" (Revelation 21:8 KJV)
Fact Finder: The greatest miscarriage of justice that ever occurred was when the completely innocent Jesus Christ was executed. As part of that miscarriage of justice, was a murderer set free?
Mark 15:7-11, Acts 3:14

More on Humility and Grace

Be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" . . . And whoever exalts himself will be abased, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. (1 Peter 5:5 and Matthew 23:12)
The Lord wants humility to be the spiritual attire that adorns our character. "Be clothed with humility." This is crucial, since "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." We cannot live by grace unless we are willing to walk in humility. Any other approach is some form of pride, which always meets God's resistance. These are absolutes that every person must face. "Whoever exalts himself will be abased, and he who humbles himself will be exalted." The scriptures describe numerous individuals who demonstrate these truths.
Nebuchadnezzar, exalted himself. "Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?" (Daniel 4:30). God opposed this self-exaltation by driving the king out into the fields to eat grass like an animal. Eventually, this banished king looked to heaven, and the Lord restored him to the throne. Then, magnifying the true King, he proclaimed the great lesson he had learned. "Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven . . . And those who walk in pride He is able to abase" (Daniel 4:37).
Manasseh, while king in Jerusalem, also exalted himself. He did so in a most wicked manner, polluting God's temple with idolatry. "He built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD . . . He even set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God" (2 Chronicles 33:5,7). In doing so, he enticed the people of God into untold abominations. "So Manasseh seduced Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to do more evil than the nations whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel" (2 Chronicles 33:9). As a consequence of this prideful rebellion, the Lord had Manasseh taken away captive into Babylon. Then, he humbled himself before God. In spite of the king's arrogant disobedience, the Lord heard his prayer and restored him to the throne. "Now when he was in affliction, he implored the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, and prayed to Him; and He received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom." (2 Chronicles 33:12-13)
Truly, everyone who lifts himself up in pride will be brought low. Conversely, any person who walks in humility will be lifted up to liberation and blessing.
Dear King of heaven and earth, I am convicted of times when I behaved proudly, like these two kings. That has always led to my spiritual defeat and bondage. I thank You for drawing my heart toward humility. I humbly turn to You to pour out Your grace upon me, as You did upon them. Through Christ I pray, Amen

Meditation for This Morning
Charles Spurgeon

February 6 - Morning

"Praying always." —Ephesians 6:18
What multitudes of prayers we have put up from the first moment when we learned to pray. Our first prayer was a prayer for ourselves; we asked that God would have mercy upon us, and blot out our sin. He heard us. But when He had blotted out our sins like a cloud, then we had more prayers for ourselves. We have had to pray for sanctifying grace, for constraining and restraining grace; we have been led to crave for a fresh assurance of faith, for the comfortable application of the promise, for deliverance in the hour of temptation, for help in the time of duty, and for succour in the day of trial. We have been compelled to go to God for our souls, as constant beggars asking for everything. Bear witness, children of God, you have never been able to get anything for your souls elsewhere. All the bread your soul has eaten has come down from heaven, and all the water of which it has drank has flowed from the living rock—Christ Jesus the Lord. Your soul has never grown rich in itself; it has always been a pensioner upon the daily bounty of God; and hence your prayers have ascended to heaven for a range of spiritual mercies all but infinite. Your wants were innumerable, and therefore the supplies have been infinitely great, and your prayers have been as varied as the mercies have been countless. Then have you not cause to say, "I love the Lord, because He hath heard the voice of my supplication"? For as your prayers have been many, so also have been God's answers to them. He has heard you in the day of trouble, has strengthened you, and helped you, even when you dishonoured Him by trembling and doubting at the mercy-seat. Remember this, and let it fill your heart with gratitude to God, who has thus graciously heard your poor weak prayers. "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits."

—2 Timothy 4:6
Are you ready to be poured out as an offering? It is an act of your will, not your emotions. Tell God you are ready to be offered as a sacrifice for Him. Then accept the consequences as they come, without any complaints, in spite of what God may send your way. God sends you through a crisis in private, where no other person can help you. From the outside your life may appear to be the same, but the difference is taking place in your will. Once you have experienced the crisis in your will, you will take no thought of the cost when it begins to affect you externally. If you don’t deal with God on the level of your will first, the result will be only to arouse sympathy for yourself.
"Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar" ( Psalm 118:27 ). You must be willing to be placed on the altar and go through the fire; willing to experience what the altar represents-burning, purification, and separation for only one purpose-the elimination of every desire and affection not grounded in or directed toward God. But you don’t eliminate it, God does. You "bind the sacrifice . . . to the horns of the altar" and see to it that you don’t wallow in self-pity once the fire begins. After you have gone through the fire, there will be nothing that will be able to trouble or depress you. When another crisis arises, you will realize that things cannot touch you as they used to do. What fire lies ahead in your life?
Tell God you are ready to be poured out as an offering, and God will prove Himself to be all you ever dreamed He would be.

Matt these words have so much meaning. We don't really know when we ask God to draw us closer to Him, just what it will take. Sometime those fiery trials we have to go through to get the chaff burned off may at times seem more than we can bear. But if we will take hold of the horns of the altar and not let go we will come through. I desire your prayers. God bless you. :prayer:

Matt these words have so much meaning. We don't really know when we ask God to draw us closer to Him, just what it will take. Sometime those fiery trials we have to go through to get the chaff burned off may at times seem more than we can bear. But if we will take hold of the horns of the altar and not let go we will come through. I desire your prayers. God bless you. :prayer:

Amen sister!

You are in my prayers:prayer:

I cried out to the Lord for mercy, and He heard me. My life changed. His love is powerful, so real. It changes hearts and lives. It heals.
