I am planning on converting to the Conservative Mennonite church. I was baptised Catholic as an infant but was told by the Conservative Mennonite guy on their website that I would have to be rebaptised. And I really don't mind since I do believe it is an act of faith and I wouldn't mind demonstrating this on my own as an adult. However, I do not live near a Conservative Mennonite church yet. So my question is, would it be okay to get baptised through another church and would they (Conservative Mennonites) see it as valid, or would I be better off just waiting until I move near them. If I can get baptised before then, are there any churches which I should be weary of when it comes to baptism and/or are there any which I would just be better going to in the very beginning? Thanks for your help! God bless! In Christ,
