Baptisim = Salvation?

It is a witness. Just like the law of Moses which some of you condemn, it was a witness. Dunking oneself in water will not give you eternal life, just like sacrificing a cow would'nt. It is a witness of your sin and your desire to turn from it.

Baptism never saved a soul , but it is interesting that Noah and Moses were baptised in the very strangest of ways.........they were delivered through water!!

Ah yes the Baptist answer. How then do you interpret 1 Peter 3:21-22 in which Peter states that "this Baptism now saves you"

Baptism is not an act but a sacrament and means of Grace by which the Holy Spirit cleanses you of your sins and saves you.

yeah........God help those poor folks who repent and then die in the sahara many miles from any body of water
