I think you know what I meant.

But just in case you really don't, we are instructed to leave childish behavior behind us, and move on to perfection.

Hence, as long as we continue to look to Jesus Christ, we will continue to grow in truth and grace. Thus we will not be as we are now, but will be perfected in Him.

When He returns there will be no spot or blemish in our character. We will be one with Christ in spirit and in truth.

What do you mean by perfected? You seem to have a different meaning in mind than what the Bible points to.

My response was meant to show you how offensive your reply was in suggesting that my actions could have determined what your response was. Instead of looking to see the fault in how people respond you need to take the time to consider how offensive your posts are.

Perfected in the sense that Christ's image will be clearly seen in us, as both our words and actions will honor Him.

Since you have told everyone how you apologized to me and how unforgiving I have been, I guess it is alright to respond here.

I have and do forgive you Woobadooba. But as I said in the report thread, there are consequences to our actions.

You behavior Monday night offended me because you showed no respect for:a) the priviledge I have of posting my opinions in a thread; b) my ability to read and correctly interpret the rules and c) my right to hold and express a different opinion from you.

Your apology addressed areas a and b, but the main issue between us involves c.

I am not asking for an apology. Instead, I'd like to present a challenge.

I believe we agree that in areas that are illegal or immoral, there is no room for compromise. When it comes to promoting something sinful or religious error, non-Biblical ideas, I will be first in line to respond against it. I suspect you would be right next to me. I believe we agree on much more in this area than you may think.

However, in issues that are not illegal or immoral there is liberty to have and express personal opinions. In areas of opinion, there is liberty. I believe this is where our disconnect lies. Either you have a longer list of things that are sinful than I do (which I doubt), or you have a shorter list for which you are willing to grant liberty to others (I believe this may be true.).

My question to you, my challenge to you, is are you willing to look at the different controversies you find yourself embroiled in here on the forum and ask yourself is it illegal, is it immoral or sinful, and if it is not leave people to express their personal opinions without bothering them?

I am not trying to provoke a long drawn out argument, I am just looking for a way to generate a more peaceful atmosphere. Would it offend your principles to allow people to post their opinions and ideas without comment?

Would you be willing to use the ignore button? Why or why not?

You don't have to answer these questions in this thread. Just some things for you to think about.

What makes you think that you have been given the franchise to determine who has been perfected? Is it not your sole responsibility to work out your own salvation rather than that of others?

Ah yes, the typical perfection block. All else fails, attack the person's spirtuality. You woob are certainly not upholding the command to respect your elder.
