I'm actually thinking of doing that myself. My friends got annoying at the show we went to, and you can get better seats, like you said.

I can agree with you on Elton John. When I went, it was just him, and his piano. No band, No opener... just three hours of pure Elton He was outstanding. Very interactive.

Back when Elton was doing that tour, he went to the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA (where I was living at the time) and I was lucky enough to be working for the catering company in the dome then. I worked that whole day for 16 hours, and got to see some of the concert with just him and his piano. It was so cool. You could tell that the audience just LOVED it.

I still have the tshirt I was given as kind of a reward for putting in so many hours that day. But I don't wear it anymore....I'd give it away if I knew of someone who wanted it.

its true... DMB fans are really cool. Its like a big family gathering.
I would totally go to a show by myself.
Heck, if I had a car, I would pick JOsh up in Portland, and drive down to the LA show with you That would rock!

If that happens you can always use my trick and pretend to "get lost" on the way to the bathroom or snack stand, then conveniently find them when the show is coming to an end .
At moe.down I did this. There was this one girl, my friends girlfriend, who would just not shut up! I could not believe how loud she was. Why did she even come?Obviously not to listen to music. People who talk at concerts, arggh they annoy me so much. Like, hey, I did not pay $50 to hear about how you went shopping last week, get over yourself and have some courtesy for others!!!
This annoys me more than anything else at a concert.
So yeah, when this happens I "got lost" and just went somewhere else to listen to the show.

At the DMB show this summer, arg the second night, there were the loudest most obnoxious guys (completely hammered might I add) In front of us... eventually one passed out and missed the whole show... what an idiot!

Well if DMB do tour here ever, I'm probably gonna go by myself - being the only Aussie fan that I know, it'd be better than having to drag a friend who might not like them
