Want someone to vent to? Would you like someone to share about your day with? Just want someone to drop in with you for a moment? Then welcome to Balugon's Listening Corner! I want to become a better listener, and the only way to do that is to practice listening to people. This is what I have in mind:
People can PM me or leave their name below if they want. I'll put together a list and pick one person a week to do a Zoom meeting with. You have a chance to get heard and to practice socialization skills, and I get practice in trying new and possibly more effective ways of listening (though it will likely be awkward as I stare down at my list of possible things I can say).
If this sounds like something you want to try out, as mentioned before, just shoot me a PM or reply below. If I find I'm handling one person a week (different each time) on top of my other life obligations well, I might increase it to more people per week.
