Personality – Can be a bit cynical and uses sarcasm to mask his own feelings. He doesn't make friends easily. And he can be quite brutal with those he deems enemies or his prey
Short History – Balen has worked for the govern hunting down those with Sage powers. He believes that those who are fighting the govern are in the wrong. He has fallen for the lies the govern has told him He doesn't know that he has any power. It just kicks in and he uses it to capture sages. When he discovers that he's been lied to and used, it won't be pretty.
Talent- When he is on the hunt and really looking for one, he can detect other Sages by simply looking at them. But he doesn't know that he's using a power. He just thinks he's a good hunter so its completely unconscious. If he's not aware that there is a Sage around, he won't notice them however.
