Bad Breath, Anyone?

I've been feeling queasy, but have not gotten sick over the last few days and along with that, I've had really bad breath. I suppose this is just a side effect of the queasiness, but I was just curious if anyone else has felt this way.? My poor husband; he gives me kisses anyways! What a great guy! I guess I need to stock up on breath mints if I'm to ever go out in public again...

Bless your heart! That can be quit normal. That too shall pass. I eat alot of peppermints

When I read the title of the thread I thought it was going to be about HUSBANDS For a few weeks, I was so super sensitive to smell, that I would wake up if my husband rolled towards me and we were facing each other. His breath woke me up and I had to turn over to go back to sleep! Thankfully, that stage is past.

LOL..boy can i relate..i get SUPER sensitive to so many smells when i am pregnant!

what kind of foods have you been eating? if you have been eating alot of protein and fat but not much carbs you would have bad breath..its ketones in your breath.

Are you Sure it's really your breath that's bad, or is your sense of smell so acute now that it Seems like it's that bad?

I Always thought my body odor was horrid, my breath was horrid... my hair smelled bad... lol DH always smelled me and said that No, I didn't, so it must have just been me being super sensitive.

Thanks for the advice! I probably do need to eat more carbs. I've been trying to make-over my whole diet to be more healthy, but it has been hard since certain things just do not taste good right now. I'm sure you all know what I mean!

Now it is funny that you mention smell, which makes sense for most people, but I actually do not have a sense of smell. (I know, that sounds really weird.) I can still taste, though, so somewhere it seems like the olfactory nerves just plain don't work. But you may be right, even though my brain doesn't technically register smell, I still might be super-sensitive and just think my breath is bad.

Okay, so my husband just had me breathe on him and he said my breath is normal. But it sure feels bad to me! Oh well, I guess maybe I am just crazy. Or pregnant! Ha Ha!

brush your teeth more, that has helped me with the feeling that my breath is bad, though it isn't
