So I have been saved & baptized. But since I have been saved I have back-slidden. Am I still saved? Or do I need to rededicate my life again? I've heard different theories, answers, and ideas, but I have yet to find anything about it in the Bible.

Help Please :)

This is a widely debated subject but to me this verse says it all:
John 10:28-29 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.

It is my belief that you can't lose your salvation.

Every one sins. Saved or not you will continue to sin your entire life and nothing can change that but NOTHING you do or anyone else does can snatch you from God's hands. Just repent your sins to God and he WILL forgive you which is what makes him so amazing.

Hope this clears it up! :)

Backsliding is impossible. You of course cannot lose your salvation and if you have TRULY back-slidden then you were never saved.

Hebrews 10:26-27, "For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and THE FURY OF A FIRE WHICH WILL CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES."

True Christians do stumble and yes, they do sin every day. But you need to get back to Him. Repent and believe the gospel.

Read the book of Hebrews and 1 John. There is a true repentance and a false repentance. Get back to the supreme King!

Read the book of Romans next. You will receive knowledge of true repentance.

Praying for you!

I strongly disagree with the thought of once in grace always in grace, every time I feel as though i have sinned, i repent. Since i got saved the first time, i backslid once. the bible says to do your first works over. Even if you believe once in grace, wouldn you wanna be safe, than sorry. wouldn it be a sad day if when you died you ended up in hell because you didn rededicate your life to Christ?

"Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent." Revelation 2:5

I've thought about this too and i feel that noone is perfect as it says in the bible, noone but GOD, God knows all things, so if you sin after you've been baptised and saved it doesn't mean all hope is lost, hope is NEVER lost, when you trust in GOD :)
If you regret what you did, and The Spirit is telling you that you've done something wrong, then repent. you're repenting just by regretting you're actions and never aiming to do those things again ;D

GOD bless you

Yes, no one can snatch us from God's hand. But if a person decided to go astray or away from God's authority, renounced his/her salvation, and rebelled against God. He/She must re-dedicate his/her life again to God and return to Him. the issue is not IF YOU BELIEVE IN GOD (since even demons believe in God). But if you are truly LIVING FOR HIM???

That is more talking about people who turn their back completely on God yell curses to his name and reject him ever existing and choose a new faith, once you accept Jesus into your life He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Deuteronomy 31:8 ESV

It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

Matthew 28:20 ESV

Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
