Well, I'm about to go to the doctor tomorrow and have 13 Corticosteroid injections. I used to think 13 was an unluck number until i realized that with the 12 deciples, Jesus was #13...so I like that number now. But I dont like shots...blessings and prayers are always helpful. it's almost 8pm and I think i'l already ready for bed.

This is like going to the dentist...I dread it but I know i must go. I will be getting stuck at 8:30am...please, at the very least, send me some positive energy @ 8:30 I'm gunna need it.

I am sorry I didn't see this post until this evening. I am praying that you are not in pain.

Please let us know how your doing. I have only had one steroid injection in my shoulder but have had multiple trigger point injections. They did help, but it took me quite awhile to be willing to have them done.

thank you...it wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. The first shot got me really numb, so after that it was just sureal as ever. I dont like to be full of drugs like this...I sure do hope this helps. Natural drugs are one thing...I love herbal remidies, but this hard core steroid stuff is for the birds. I think if I was suppose to have this stuff in me, God would have made CorticoSteroid trees. (yes I feel silly, thanks to these pills). If this dosent work I get a blood test and then stamped with the title "Fibromialgia Patient" for the rest of my life...I'll keep ya posted, thanks for the thoughts and prayers!!!

I am glad things went well. I agree I like the natural stuff too, when it works for me.
I have fibro...was diagnosed several years ago, but it started in 1997. I try to stay away from the steriod shots because they destroy cartilage but I am not sure which type of steriods do this, or if it is all of them.
