It counts to me...the sight of any snake makes my skin "crawl"...:doh:

The erriest one we have around here is the hog nosed snake. It isn't dangerous or poisonous but it expands it's head to scare away predators and resembles a cobra.

Missouri---in the boonies.

All these critters aren't as scary as it looks like. They are few and far between but over my lifetime I've seen them all.

Oh yea I forgot the Copper Heads and the Blue Racers to. I saw something funny years ago down by Elephant Rock state park in Missouri.

A dog was chasing a Blue Racer and they move fairly fast. As fast as a man can run. Anyway a small dog ran by chasing a racer and then about a minute later the dog came runing back the other way with the Blue racer in hot pursuit after the dog :) Looked kinda funny. The Racer is not poisonous.

Ask Big Dave about Hoop Snakes :)
