BACK AGAIN: Search Member's Posts/ Threads!

Okay, I've tweaked the server database a bit, and have reinstated the "Search User's Posts or Threads" function in the member profile, search page, and in the member's posts.

Let's hope we get to keep it this time!

It's not working for me from the main page when you click search, but when you do an advanced search it does work.......it works for you from the main page?

Erwin, I just had where it said the whole datbase went down....was that you rebooting it or was that from this being reinstituted again that it went down?

I noticed the amount of users online dropped below 100, but I was never denied access......weird

well when I came back online there were only 17 users online at the time maybe during that time you did not hit the refresh key or try to exit a thread or post....

Erwin, that is wonderful. I just tried it, and it worked fine. But I did notice that when I search for a member's posts from their user name drop down list, it only pulls up the most recent 100 posts, not all posts. Is this the way it is supposed to work?

Erwin, real quick, If I do a search withIN a particular user's posts,no results are being returned even though there are many posts that should be.


is part of the search capabilities down or is there a bug?

I limited it to 100 posts for now. If it's not enough, I may increase it.

And it should work no matter where you do it.
