  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I received a new digital camera for Christmas and I couldn't wait to use it. Here is a picture of the baby's blanket I am working on. It is not quite done yet, because I have not woven in the ends.

Well done! and I hope you are having fun with your camera, all I seem to take photo's of are my cats :)

It is such an achievement to stick at something for so long and to finish it, well it is for me anyway ^_^ (supposedly that is because I am a middle child :p ).

You have done really well.

Very nice job. I really like the pattern and colors. I'm kind of new to crocheting and haven't quite grasped being able to read and follow a pattern yet. I know how to chain, sc, dc, & tc. So I'm pretty much stuck just making afghans and scarves that have those stitches straight across. :) Hopefully I'll get the hang of reading patterns soon so I can make some things for my little boy (he's 13 months old & the reason I started crocheting)

I'm working on a baby's blanket too...bought a load of 'recycled' wool from my local charity shop - think it's 2-ply. It's very fine anyway. Should be ready in time for my six-year-old to get married and have babies! ;)

Not wishing her life away, not at all...it's just going to take me a long time - in between other projects! :tutu:

God bless and happy crocheting..
