Baby Gender

Hehe.

He decided not to have it today because my OB doesn't believe in ultrasounds for no medical reason.

So I explained money is tight and I am having my baby shower July first and I'd like to know the gender if possible because baby stuff is so expencive and if I can get as much stuff as possible yey for me. My Grandparents on both sides want to send gifts etc and there will be 40+ people at the shower...sooo...I begged and he said no. Well 30 minutes later in walmart...his nurse called me back with. "Next Tuesday.3pm.Full bladder."

HAHA! I win!

Now my baby better be like his or her daddy and not be shy!

As for the poll do you think the baby will be a boy or girl?

A girl. In my DH's Mom's family out of all the cousins(my MIL is 6 of 7) there is only boys. The only girl is a stepchild. So at Christmas and Easter at the big get togethers, there are 27 boys under the age of 10.

Also, I've done the boy stuff with my nephew for 3 years...BUT I'll be happy with a boy because I'm sure my son will be totally different than my experiences with my nephew.

Linnis, do you have a *feeling* about the sex of your baby??? And how far along are you now?

My sister was convinced she was having a girl (though she didn't find out from the scan as they wanted a surprise) and she had a girl.

I'm convinced we're having a boy (not that I have any preference, I just think it's a boy), and we asked the hospital not to tell us the sex...so I guess we'll know in 13 more weeks...

But do you have a feeling one way or the other???

I've always had this feeling I'd have a girl. So far the only thing I find funny is every time I dream I have the baby on October second.

I could be wrong on both counts though.

It's a boy!!!

It was a very emotional experience, the tech, took the "boring" pictures first. His brain, heart, kidneys, stomach, bladder are all forming normally. My placenta is the right size but it's on top cloest to my skin which is probably why I haven't felt him move except for twice.

We got a perfect profile shot, and a pic of his hand spread out so you can count his fingers..all 5 of them and his toes. According to measurements we weights seven ounces.

I'm not sad...I knew with my DH's family and everyone having the boys first in mine, I would probably be having a boy. Also my Aunt is making the most adorable baby things and she's getting some really cool patterns. I was most worried that boys things would be boring, not have much color.
