Someone reminded me that I haven't posted yet on how Brian was doing. I apologize. Thank you all for praying. Brian is my little miracle baby (although all babies are miracles!!). Brian stayed in NICU for seven days. On the sixth day, he went from being intubated with Oxygen to breathing air oxygen. The doctors, nurses and respiratory therapists were all very surprised at how quickly he improved in such a short time.
There is no reason for him to have gotten Severe Respiratory Distress Syndrome because he wasn't premature. It rarely occurs in infants who are full term. My water did break with him at 13 weeks but I resealed (another miracle) and I seemed to have enough water. There are so many "whys" with Brian's pregnancy but along with that there are so many miracles. I thank the Lord for everyday he has allowed me to spend with my little Brian. Again, thank you all for praying!!
