I am SO sick of entertainers plugging their liberal views every chance they get. They're entertainers NOT politicians.

Barbara Streisand has caused problems for W. since he's been in office. She has a bad attitude, and is obcviously un-American. I'd like to buy her a one-way plane ticket to Afghanistan, so she can see how bad things COULD be. She really needs to can it.

So entertainers give up their right to free speech when they choose their profession do the? Why is it fundies laud those entertainers that agree with their agenda but seek to silence and vilify those that don't? Hmmmm...

One more question. Is she un-american because she disagrees with your beliefs, or is it that her "obvious" un-americanness causes her to disagree with your "absolute truth"?

And isn't it entertaining to watch her make such an idiot of herself?  It cracks me up to watch her engage her mouth when her brain is obviously not functioning.

No one really takes anything celebrities have to say seriously. They just talk and talk because they think they are important and their ideas are superior to everyone elses. Since I don't like being told how to think, I ignore them and go look for the facts myself.

She sure is embarassed by her big Shakespeare gaff from last night, though, huh? :D

While I bask myself in your overflowing sense of Christian love I can't help but be reminded of this comic, you should give it a read.

She doesn't want ANYTHING to do with helping America in regards to terrorism or anything else. She bashes our country, our Constitution, and our way of life. Yes, she's un-American.

Which constitution is she bashing? The one I thought we had guaranteed freedom of religion, freedom of expression, freedom of association, the right to a speedy trial by a jury of your peers, absolute immunity to being held without trial, the right to legal counsel when charged with a crime, and a number of other things which are being overlooked by the current administration.

I would expect an American who really wanted to defend the Constitution, and our way of life, to be out there complaining about the way the government does things today.

Are there justifications? Perhaps. But I think they need to be challenged regularly, to make sure that people don't start thinking that jury trials are a special perk awarded only to non-Muslims or people accused of crimes entirely unrelated to any kind of terrorism.

I know what you mean but they don't have to freedom of speech is what i love about the USA.  Just cause we don't agree with here doesn't mean here can't say what she wants.

BTW vote republican. AHAH

And thus the NRA decides to make Charleton "get your paws of my you dirty ape" Heston their president.

Let's just hope our country never elects an entertainer to be president. No wait, they already did.

I think it's un-American to say anyone who has different political views than me must leave the country, in view of the Constitution's strong protections of ALL political speech...including kinds that conservative Christians disagree with.

I also think that what Barbara produces is no more music than the racket on the Chicago freeways at rush hour...heck, I'd rather listen to a traffic jam than her icky, whiny voice...but she has the right to say whatever she likes, no matter how offensive you think it is, unless it is meant to incite someone to violence and you can prove it in a court of law.
