cant stand them.. 1. because they really arent that original and 2. because Syn Gates copied part of a John Petrucci (Dream Theater) solo note for note.. (Syn is a big Dream Theater fan) that was the last straw for me.

Actually in contrast to my last post, I've been listening to thier new album, and I've found alot of content that is positive toward christianity. The songs like Afterlife, Brompton Cocktail, Dear God, and Gunslinger all have pro-christian content, unlike Beast and the Harlot from the last album. In conclusion I would say they are neither christians nor anti-christians :] And since they arent anti-christian, they now go back on my playlist ;]

Basically, the narrator murdered his lover, ate her eyes, and continued to have sex with her. After awhile, her angry soul came back in her body and killed him, ate HIS eyes, and then he spends some time in Hell to suffer for what he did. Once he's suffered enough to satisfy his lover, he comes back, they get married, and start killing now that both of them will "live" forever.

Avenged is definitely a great band. I'm not too crazy about their new album though. Waken the Fallen is their best, IMO. Suggestion...if I may, If you like Avenged, look into Trivium. They are AMAZING.
