I watch a little bit of Avatar from time to time, but it's really nothing special just another one of those water-down made for kids anime. Overall though it's pretty solid.

Just saw Secret of the Fire Nation! Not what I was expecting but it made up for the lack of realism and combat with the funny.

Oh, and Toph kissing Suki on accident thinking she's Sokka... pure class.

that was awseome! i'm so excited that cn's showing avatar eps again! suki looked adorable without her make up. poor little toph, thinking that she was kissing sokka. the 'I'M A GIRL!' part was hilarious! did anyone else catch the flirting going on between ty lee and sokka? he's so unfaithful, suki was his first kiss but he fell in love with yue and now that he's back with suki he's hitting on ty lee. tsk tsk, silly boy. and they're all having some serious problems with stalkers. (first name is the stalkee, names after the arrows are the stalkers) aang <- zuko, azula, ty lee, mai. zuko <- azula, ty lee, mai, jet, random earth benders. toph <- random earth benders. sokka <- suki, ty lee. fire nation <- just about everyone. just about everyone <- fire nation.​

Seriously, those pictures are at points awesome, at points seriously scary.

I wonder if Saka and Suki are ever going to finally get together.

I wonder if Saka will ever have any formal schooling and become a military genius.

That is not to mention Aang and Katara, but Toph seems to be left without a love interest. Jet maybe?

The series seems to have an aweful lot of character development and love-interests for a Nickelodeon cartoon show. I fervently pray that they keep this up.

Between Avatar, X-men Evolution, and He-Man, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon seem to be finally (though slowly) catching up to the Japanese in regard to High Art in children's/college entertainment.
