I <3 Avatar! At first I thought it was an incredibly generic show (and it kinda is, admittedly), but it was a lot more interesting than most of what is on tv. So I watched it more, and I began to really like a lot of the stylistic elements (four elements + martial arts) and the increasing depth of plot and character development.
Unfortunately it's hardly ever on...

Katara and Zuko? I've thought of it, but I just don't think it'll happen. Now Zuko and the Earth kingdom girl, Jen, I can REALLY see that. He obviously likes her. He kissed back. <3

it was "Tales of Ba Sing Se". it showed last friday. New ep on the 13th! it's on Appa and where he is/was from the time he was taken until the present. Yay!

Awe man! I just found out what the whole Tale of Iroh and the frame about "In honor of Mako" was all about.
Apparently the voice actor for Uncle Iroh, Makoto Iwamatsu, died a couple months ago and this last episode was a tribute to him. Man, the episode was well done and that vignette was sad to begin with. Now at least I understand what it was about. I have a great deal of respect for Nickelodeon now for doing that. This guy was a great supporting actor both for animation and live-action as long as I can remember.
He will me sincerely missed by many many people.
