I've noticed that adventist pastors don't always mention the name of an author that they quote from the pulpit, but they make sure they say who wrote it when they quote from Ellen G. White's writings...
I don't see the difference? There are lots of inspired authors out there, and everyone has different degrees of light, so I don't think it's wrong to mention their names.
