Aussies converting to Islam.

I saw something on the news last night, which I find scary and amazing. It is an article on Islam, and Aussies becoming Muslims.

Please say a prayer today, if you are thinking about it. I see a lot of Muslims around Canberra all the time. I will be definitely praying today.

It's an intersting point. One of the things I'd wonder is, why is it happening? What's the attraction of Islam?

THAT is MORE than scary! We need to pray alright! The muslims are trying to convert people everywhere. I had one try to convert me through a 'christian'. The idea is for them to tell you that their Koran has Jesus in it and that their beliefs are the same as ours. BEWARE>>>>>>>>>> PRAY HARD.

Actually, they do a bit of good for me. I have hell scared out of me everytime I see one.

Easy, the muslim women wear the wraps around them. Haven't you seen it too? Mind you, I am living near where the embassies are and walk alot.

I know that. Did it seem that I thought they only wear them in Canberra?

I meant that I see more foreign people where I am living, than I used to, when I was on the other side of town. I am right near the embassies. When I used to catch the buses everywhere, I would get on the bus, and be the only Anglo, white Aussie. (I hope I don't sound racist, because I'm not, just saying it how it is)

middle eastern culture IS islamic, just like western culture is christian.

Everyone should at least know that the Koran is nothing but a book with unrelated ideas and ambigious teachings, and nothing holds together mainly because "Mental Illness" was defined back in the days of Mohummed.

That doesn't surprise me, I find the whole thing a mystery. There is an article on different religions in a parenting magazine. I am reading all about this stuff, and it still "doesn't compute"

yep its true, they aren't part of the koran but are still classified as holy books, kinda like recommended reading. Jesus was a prophet and a good man after all... A lot of muslims never read the koran either, I heard a guy that has done a lot of research about Islam give a talk and he said he knew someone who was a muslim, but became a christian because he read the koran!

yes he read the koran and didnt like it and then read the bible and became a christian.
