From what I know of Islam is that they frown upon people who are "bribed" by miracles of Christianity. From my understanding, they also resent the seemingly misrepresentation of God as one who kowtows to people's will just to get them to value him as God (eg. God is represented as a God who gives way to people's attitude of "if you are really God, then you'll do this for me").

Just my understanding.

Ok, heres the rule...depending on the Language, is when you can use "God".

In English you can call God-> God, In Chinese "Sun" ...etc

When you call God in english "Allah", thats no longer God anymore. I'm bringing this out as a discussion topic, because the Bible reveals God as God.

Hence, God says...
"I am who I am"
etc...there are more others, like "my name is..."

Because frankly, God is who God is...
Hence for muslims to use the word "Allah" in english, it is refereing to their God, and not the Christian God.

Christians who speak arabic will use the word "Allah" because it refers to God as a definition of God. If they used the english word "God" in arabic, then it's refering to the Christian God, which isn't right, because as said above...

God is who God is, there is no other.

Hence it is not the same, and many Christians who have been bombarded with noise from muslims with allah this and allah that...it's not the same. It's annoying!

God is who God is...theres no point in muslims bring their own logic in to dictate who God is, because God is who God is, the Creator and Ruler !

Well, I was subject to threats that if I didn't shutup about a muslim I'd be bashed with my brains spilt on the main walkway at UNSW

The baptist church was hurled stones and rocks....

It's all about equal,Racist people take on muslims and in return muslims take revenge on Christians which arn't racist, but they're just easier to pick on

Yes they may say that and that is proper, but not the word allah unless they speak arabic..in my opinion.

What I don't understand is why ANSWERS doesn't like Genesis 1 when the muslims also obey the Torah, it's only the NT that they don't accept like the jews....
