Im sure you can get it in the states just have a look in the supermarket when i was living over in the UK you could get it in a normal supermarket.
I think the biggest mistake that everyone makes with vegemite is they spread to much on, thats why they hate it.

yeah - very thin is best - especially on freshly toasted bread with melted butter...
And the 'vegemite worms' - I haven't had one of them since primary school - took me right back! Hot, melting sao's in gladwrap, with all the filling leaking out the sides!

ok. heres the deal. one night we were having a discussion on MSN about vegemite, when i said vegemite rocks! (as in its awesum) and Bev thought there was an actual product called vegemite rocks.. she said she was going to ring up her local shop guy, and ask if they had vegemite rocks. (we didnt think she was serious of course) then she was gone for 5 minutes and we thought she had actually done it.. low and behold she comes back with the comment "you rotten little mongrel Rob...." (Rob is me lol) so as you can tell she actually did ring the guy up... lol
it was the funniest night on MSN we've had for a long time..
