Eggs are white and their candidate is black therefore this must be racism!

Conservatives seem to have a problem recognizing and evaluating nuance. Issues are only black and white. i.e. If they have a black friend it means they can't be racist or if a black cop shoots and unarmed black person it can't have anything to do with systemic racism. They don't seem to understand that subtlety, nuance and context make a difference.

Someone attacks a leading candidate at a public gathering but, because that candidate is a Republican, it's not interesting enough that the media might report on the specifics??

There is no doubt, however, if that had happened to Newsom, the analysts from top to bottom would have been beating their breasts and shouting about QAnon (however that's supposed to be spelled), white supremacy, "insurrection," attacks upon "democracy," and "domestic terrorism."

We all know the mythical enemies that would be cited as being close to taking over the world because an egg was thrown.
