I don't know where there coming from but where getting more and more of them. Might be a breeding thing. I hear they're like rabbits.

I'll tell you what it does to your brain. Got up one morning to go to work, flipped on the radio and heard it was -35F with a wind chill of -70. Ugly cloudy gray morning. Neither I nor my car sitting outdoors were too happy about moving that day but I did make it out to work.
Over lunch went out to start the car and warm up the engine. By now it's crystal clear skies, sun shining and no wind. I'm sitting in the car with the engine idling listening to the radio when the weather guy comes on and says, "It's currently a balmy -15F with clear skies forecast for the rest of the afternoon". After about 15 minutes, got the engine warmed up, shut off the car and headed back to the lab. As I'm walking through the lobby, I met a coworker going out to do the same thing. As we passed he asked me what it was like out there and without giving it even a second thought said "You know, it's pretty nice out there", took a couple of steps, stopped cold in my tracks and thought WHAT THE HECK WAS I THINKING??? 95% of the civilized world would consider these uninhabitable living conditions and they'd be right.
Anyway be aware the winters can play strange tricks on the mind.
Actually, what you see here is that they share a common Maker or Creator. Only your presuppositions - your faith, your philosophy, your religion, your basic worldview commitment - keeps you admitting that this is the case.
They don't need to come over here --- there's a one-man army here already - (Navy actually)!

In a leaky dinghy no less
Fact: you can't force other people to think.
If other people just read your posts, but never actually let the contents of the posts enter their brains, you stand no chance of convincing them of anything.
If you get the idea that people aren't thinking (for example, when they refuse to accept a logical conclusion that is based on premises that they do accept), just move on. You're just wasting your time (and spoiling your good mood!)
Oh, Props to you Valkhorn for the Princess Bride Reference!
Haha. I thought it was appropriate![]()
First off, saying a sword is two-edged does not increase its sharpness. Second, the Bible is a book, not a weapon. Third, you just seem to be a troll so I am just going to ignore you from now on.If you all go over there to pile on the Christians, let me give you some good advice.
The Bible is sharper than a two-edged sword, and in the hands of those who know how to use it --- well --- I'll just say this.
Please don't come back here bleeding all over us.
Remember: we're the salt of the earth too!

Yet, I doubt any one of them even got it.
And will any one else help out Valkhorn on this? I feel I doing battle with a Pack of Wolves with one arm tied behind my back. I'm not Equiped to hold out against these numbskulls, either Scientifically nor Verbally.
I'll check it out when I get home, but I don't like to take strange URLs at work. I'll definately sign up and add my two cents if I get a chance.
I'll give it a shot. I doubt we'll ever change any minds but at least we might be able to make a few of them back off.
I registered and post my 2 cents about the application of common descent. I expect it will be completely ignored as is par when debating creationists. And I notice zorro is definitely backed into a corner, as she now resorts to trotting out Bible quotes to insult the opposition.
