How do atheists/evolutionists explain the existance of the wide varietiy of atoms if everything came from nothing?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

1) its not atheist/evolutionists, because Evolution is Not atheism. Evolution also has Nothing to do with the formation of atoms.

Hmm... well God created all matter, this matter was dispersed throughout the expanding universe in the big bang, the matter "cooled" and condensed into larger and heavier particles (I think that's right; I'm not an astrophysics major 
), these particles (H atoms by now) were attracted to each other (gravity) and condensed further into hydrogen clouds which continued to attract more and more hydrogen until they formed super-massive stars. Eventually these stars couldn't support themselves any more (larger stars do this before smaller stars if I remember correctly) and it 'blew up'. This dispersed not only the tons of remaining hydrogen but also all of the heavier elements that were created in the star's fusion reactions and as a result of the star going super-nova. The remaining gasses and heavier elements again clumped together to form many more smaller stars which undertook the process again. I think we live in a third generation star system (like with all the other stuff, I could be mistaken).
If you're asking why matter forms atoms then all I can say is that's how matter works; God made it that way (I assume).

Ok you asked for it. When the big bang occured the universe underwent a rapid expansion and began to cool. The universe at this point consists of a sea of quarks. Cooling further as the expansion continued the sea of quarks were able to combine to form protons and electrons. These protons and electron themselves combined to form hydrogen atoms.JohnR7 said:

Basically the quarks form from the quite immense amounts of energy that was released at the moment of the big bang. As for the actual cause of the big bang that is still under debate.JohnR7 said:
