Hm... no.

We can ignore the question of "causation" here... but if someone "knows" that he will drink water in the next half hour, and this "knowledge" must be correct... that he can NOT decide not to drink, because that would mean that the "knowlegde" of the other person is incorrect.

This is not a question of knowledge, but of power. Do you really have a string attached to your arm, like a marionette? Or do you have dominion?

Very simple stuff. And it won't change til you die.

What Glory could possibly God get by sending anyone to hell? There is no "doxology" to God in hell ;)
This is a question you have to ask someone else. We used to have some Calvinists here... perhaps you can find one in the CO parts of the forum.

Also just because God created... and he knows when he will drink ...so? what? I see no connection there...His mom knows too...so?

Could he create it different?

Hm... yes, I have such a string attached to my arm. This string is called "causality".

You seem to have that notion that God jerks my arm the very instant I use my "free will".
But that is a false view... it makes that "marionette" analogy rather meaningless. A better view would be the robot, that we so often hear God does not want us to be.

Not all Christians are Calvinists actually it is not the majority so I am not inerested in that theological theory at all. But most of Chistians do beleive that God for sure takes no pleasure for the ones who go to Hell.

Creat who different? man?

Classic shirking of responsibility. Adam and Eve both tried that. Didn't work.
Responsibility goes were responsibility belongs.... THAT is the way it works. You are responsbible for your actions. You have to take that responsibility.

That does not absolve anyone else from their responsibilities... not even God.

Calvinists only? You mean soteriology? ^_^ Her question was a direct refutation of your statement, and you know it. you could at least be gentleman enough to cede the point that God gets no glory out of sending anyone to hell, and never had any designs on doing so.

You are not a robot, and all causality lies with YOU.

God made everything good. Anyway, classic sin issue: trying to fault G-d. Good luck with that

All causality lies with me?

Hey, great! So why are we still debating this question!

Atheists don't go to hell if they are good! (Caused by me)

Don't worry, I don't demand that you worship me now.

The insinuation that God would be glorified by sending someone to Hell is in also totall contradiction to the love axiom...If God is love then how would he have to exhibit evil and also be 'glorified' through it? The God you are describing is not the Christian God. Ideologically there is a big gap here.

You might want to notice that this is not "the God I describe". It is the God Calvinists describe.

Why do you assume that I, as one who doesn't believe in the existence of neither your nor their God concept am to be the arbiter of theological truth?

:D I would not think that you could play that role ... nah..
But yeah I think that if you put your hand vuluntarily in the fire you will burn it. You know through experience that...Thus God did not cause it.
