You do not need a PHD, only an open heart to take in doctrine from your right pastor teacher, he teaches, he is the one with the extensive (PHD and then some) schooling to bring the scriptures into light for his congregation. Like I said, I have been learning from him for over 32 years, and still continuing to do so, it has been a life long pursuit for me, and the happiest, and most truthful journey of my life. (I do pray that you listened to what I sent, then you can judge for yourself the Extensive teachings have mentioned, please give it a try, you have nothing to loose). God Bless....

After 35 years of studying the bible, being highly educated, speaking/ reading all the biblical languages etc etc, alone with your incredibly superior understanding. One would think you wouldn't say such things...

Submit to scripture!! (can someone repeat this above, she put me on ignore because I called her bluff on another matter)

I find it sad when someone puffs themselves up so high, and then everyone who disagrees is wrong and dismissed. It is like an asYhoYe, who is called such by one person and can disregard it, but if EVERYONE calls that person an asYhoYe, they might start to get the hint.

Sometimes in order to learn humility, we need someone to beat the 'something' out of us first. If everyone keeps telling us the same thing, the truth of it at least might be considered eventually...

Why not eh? But if not, oh well.

It's all good.

linssue55, this is not even debateable. I am sure that you are merely mistaken and do not really doubt what the scripture says.

This has to make us wonder. If Elijah, Moses and Enoch are in heaven in bodily form, and Jesus ascended into heaven in bodily form; then why would the rest of us be there as disembodied spirits?

They will not blink out of existence. An example of how that is not true is revealed in the following passage.

Revelation 20:10 niv
"And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

The beast and the false prophet will be men. For ever and ever, they will be tormented. It does not end in a blink!



They do not know who it is they believe in when its Satan. God is not concerned in a name. God is concerned with the content of what men believe. If they believe the thoughts of Satan? Yet, do not know its Satan? They believe Satan!

The torment serves a purpose. It short circuits evil thinking. It prevents evil thoughts being directed outwardly towards others. It concentrates all suffering and blame inwardly.

Torture only produces hatred for the one causing the torture after the torture stops. While it is going on, the one tortured can only concentrate on self. Torment will be the means of preventing evil thoughts being directed anymore outwardly towards others.

God, Nessie and the Atheist

An atheist was spending a quiet day fishing when suddenly his boat was attacked by the Loch Ness monster. In one easy flip, the beast tossed him and his boat at least a hundred feet into the air. The monster then opened its mouth while waiting below to swallow man and boat.
As the man sailed head over heels and started to fall towards the open jaws of the ferocious beast he cried out, "Oh, my God! Help me!"
Suddenly, the scene froze in place. As the atheist hung in midair, a booming voice came out of the clouds and said, "I thought you didn't believe in Me!"
"God, come on, give me a break!" the man pleaded, "Just seconds ago I didn't believe in the Loch Ness monster either!"
"Well," said God, "now that you are a believer you must understand that I won't work miracles to snatch you from certain death in the jaws of the monster, but I can change hearts. What would you have me do?"
The atheist thinks for a minute and then says, "God, please have the Loch Ness Monster believe in You also." God replies, "So be it."
The scene starts in motion again with the atheist falling towards the ravenous jaws of the ferocious beast.
Then the Loch Ness Monster folds his claws together and says, "Lord, bless this food You have so graciously provided....."
