My brain tells me not to kill and eat people. I don't need a god to keep me from doing this. I would say that I'm more moral than someone who would turn into a murderer if they didn't have a god to keep them from it.

The authority is Jesus Christ! Take it up with the moral authority of Jesus and the Bible. This isn't something you can't see and differentiate upon. Otherwise I have to say to you, hindsight is better than 20/20......!

You wouldn't have assess to the writings of God as a gentile. The law put Jews back from coming to having a personal relationship. Let alone gentiles Jesus moral teaching and Him being God-man? He didn't say in the old testament that He was coming to make peace on earth for all whom live here. He came to make atonement for our sin first. Can't you see that. If you can't why not?
