Thats quite an interesting statement.  Its weird how its not true.  Actually, its not weird.  Its God.  I believe everything God has told me.  If God says the world is flat, then sobeit.  If God tells me that He flooded the earth, then there ya go.  If God tells me to believe in Him no matter what, then i will beleive in Him no matter what.  Life is full of two many 'coincidences' for God not to be real.

So until you can show me some physical proof, something that i will be able to take and say 'hey, God's not real at all', then God will have all the faith and love i can muster for Him.

While I commend and congratulate you for your great faith, I find the idea of trusting the Bible over empirical evidence to be quite silly. Personally, I trust the data gathered directly from God's creation much more than I trust the words of priests thousands of years ago who probably would take a while to grasp the concept of billions years, let alone genetics, biomolecules, cosmology, astrophysics, natural selection, diploidism, heredity, etc (all of which are required in order to understand the beginnings of the universe and the creation/diversication of life as it actually happened).

i thank you for that, but i think that Satan has acted upon God's creation so much that its hard to tell whats what.  Satan doesn't want us to believe whats said in the bible-thats why he has the science people (at a loss of words right now) come up with things like a 6 billion year old earth, and natural selection, among other things.  I don't dispute that genetics, heredity, and other scientific discoveries aren't real (like the things you mentioned about astrophysics-its part of how God created the universe), its the things like the big bang theory, or natural selection, or the idea that the flood never happened.

I believe whole-heartedly that God can and will do anything to get His point across.  God doesn't want the world to be able to say 'hey, i've found sure-fire proof that God exists!'.  He wants people to come to Him completely through faith.  I think thats why there isn't alot of proof or evidence for the Flood, or the begining (chapter 1 of Genesis) or all the other supernatural things God has made happen.

The current number is 4.56 billion years for the age of the Earth based upon a number of independent methods.

It's just the things that interfere with your literal interpretation of your holy text. What about geocentricity then?

There is zero proof for the global flood. Not only that, but there is evidence that completely falsifies the hypothesis that a global flood could even happen. There's not enough water on Earth and the Earth's geologic features could not be formed by such a process. The evidence for an old earth and no global flood has yet to be contradicted or falsified.

I did not say that. I said that Satan has been working on God's creation-God controls everyhting that goes on on earth. There is nothing that He doesn't have control over. Satan has power on earth because God allows it. And as for 'such deception', that comes from origional sin. Satan is the cause of orgional sin. Do you think without sin there would be deception? no-lying in itself is a sin.

hmmm...yes....scientific evidence....yeah. God doesn't have to give us any evidence or proof for anything-no matter what you say. God is the great I AM. He is all there is. without Him, there wouldn't be a world to argue about how old it is. No matter what you say, i will continue to believe that the earth is as old as God says it is.

well, what is geocentricity? and they aren't interfering-for them to interfere would have to somehow obstruct my path to truth. trust me, thats not happening. They just aren't true in my eyes. While i pray that God will show Himself to you so you will know the truth, i can't control what you believe.
