'These' is NOT a personal pronoun; 'I', 'you', 'he', 'she', etc. are personal pronouns. 'These' isn't a pronoun at all the way you used it - you are not substituting 'these' for any noun. You used it a a determinate adjective to modify the noun 'atheists' (which atheists? these atheists). Welcome to the English language.
