I don´t know that there is a GOD. I do know there are several god concepts out there. Each of them deserves individual consideration. Do you want me to comment on your god concept in particular? Feel free to present it.

No...I'm just very ADD . I shouldn't of said that. GOD loves atheist. HE loves to do them good,even though they love to hate HIM,or the thought of HIM anyway. How would you feel if your son hated you?? GOD does say that we are his sons,and daughters.

I don't hate him... I don't think he exists. That's like me accusing you of hating Santa Claus or Zeus just because you don't think they exist.

Likewise, I don't hate the thought of God either... I just think it's a concept many people mistakenly believe to be true.

How would I feel if my son hated me? I'd feel terrible.

However, if I was God, and had full control over how he was created, and genetically engineered my son to be prone to hating me, I'd be indifferent... he's just doing what I designed him to do. That's the logical flaw in your argument... if your God is real, then I'm doing exactly what he designed me to, according to his "plan".

I don't understand why anyone or anything would design someone to hate them though.... that makes absolutely no sense.

I'm not sure i believe GOD really does that. I think that the Roman Catholic Church may have put the doctrines of hell in there to keep the people in fear. But i believe that those who haven't received the gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus,will cease to exist. Or maybe there is hell,which is to live forever without GOD,which isn't torment from GOD,but what an atheist wanted anyway.

I was just being 25% serious when i said that. In the realm of uncertainties. Atheism is the necessary opposite of faith. That their is a such thing as atheism,gives me all the more reason to believe in GOD.

All God has to do to wipe out all atheism is to speak for himself and show himself.

Which is nonsense given that believers already claim there is evidence for god. So there is already some violation of free will, so this is obviously not a valid objection.

Demonstrateing you exist is usually done before asking for stuff. I don't consider it a "violation of my free will". If my free will exists, and God values my freedom, I should be free to say yes or no regardless. Which is of course, also not true according to believers.

If you want something from me, I expect you to ask for it yourself.

That it dosen't is not to uphold my free will, but because it either dosen't want to show itself or dosen't exist. If it is true that I am really not allowed to go against it's wishes anyway for fear of punishment, according to believers, this whole "not wanting to show its self" is just a cruel game of some sort. And, in this senario God is rediculous to ask something of me without clearly asking for it or makeing it clear that the asking is comeing from it.

The whole thing boggles the mind.

1. That´s exactly what has been said: There doesn´t appear to be a God.
2. If a God existed there this would pose quite a few problems to your Christian theology. So be careful what sorts of Gods you are arguing for and from.

Until we witness God on that Asteroid, we have no justifiable reason to assume he is there.

but I can't prove there is no green tiger in your basement until I travel there, same with the edge of the universe......God MAY exist somewhere far away.
