Look you guys it's not the site that's helped people. Its the people on here, it's the things we've read. Alot of people don't have contact with a Christian they feel comfortable with IRL. I know I don't . Alot of people are kinda scared of church. i know it sounds weird but it's true. A site is alot less intimidating then a church. This was a place where people of all faiths and beliefs could ask questions and talk to someone about these very real very important issues. If we change back, well honestly...I just don't see how we're gonna help anyone...

No offense to you, but this is not God's site. This is Erwin's site created within God's world and dedicated to God, but this is definitely NOT God's site! I personally chose to come back to comment on this issue at CF, because I want God's will to be done on this site.... I want Him to be glorified as much as possible through this site. I don't believe these new reforms are what God wants, or what we deserve. In its current form, this site is going downhill and quickly! This site is going to turn people away from Christianity much quicker than it is going to bring in non-believers into the faith. Something needs to be changed, and I don't think it is option 1, although I do not believe it is option 2 either... it is a happy medium which could fall under an option 3... maybe something along the lines of what I mentioned earlier in this thread.

Okay but even before the changes we had areas where Christians and non-Christians could discuss their spiritual needs together. Christians also deserve a place where they feel safe and sometimes that means just having a place where other Christians came come. It's not to have a secret club... its a place to talk to like-minded Sisters and Brothers about our needs.

If anything more Christians should have taken a few moments every day they come here to reach out to non-Christians. We had the forums... they just weren't used as much as they ought to.

As far as I see it, CF was always a place where all people could come and ask questions and talk to someone. If we "go back", this is what we go back to!

Good point, though I think I'm leaning more to Option 2 but definitely there should be middle ground set. (Btw, it's nice to see you around even for a little bit )

Um but we have that...I mean..uh you do realize if you tag a thread CO only Christians can post in it right?....that's what I can't figure out....and ok I understand that...so why not just add a sections called "Christian Hang out" or something if that's really what you want....but eliminating the ability for non-christians to go to most boards is just silly to me...

Ok. But does this mean if CF were change its recent stances and policies that you would leave Christ? Do you see what this kind of thing brings up? If we go to Christ for Christ and because we know in our heart that is right and we need Him then do we stop needing Him because of other people or their policies? He doesnt change because people do.

2. Return to a more restricted Christians-only site with a heavy emphasis on uniting mainstream Christians only with a less emphasis on outreach, in which case we keep the name.

but yet post in this forum as they want to outreach, pray before voting and less restrictive
