Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
Because they won't have Christ's righteousness imputed to them; they won't have the wedding garmet on.Amen!
But as the parable states, many are called few are chosen. Not all that are invited will make it into the Kingdom.
It's option 2. And it's a great idea. I would love it if the Christian membership were automatically installed; if the posting areas were massively expanded; if there were ways to get the attention of Christian community forums when non-Christians have questions about their viewpoints. Why cant you have a place for discussion among Christians and then have a place for outreach. Pretty simple.
Truthfully .... I mean you want me to lie nowwow......... that is just.... man do you not see how that comes across? sheesh.
Okay, again reading options 1 and 2.
Option 1 would be okay, but I cannot agree with the Name Change. Option 1 in my opinion makes this EVEN MORE of a Christian Forums.
Option 2 is old CF, and I definitely do not agree with that.
So, I cannot vote. For once, I wish this was wikied so we could ammend Option 1.

Martin try to put yourself in my shoes for a minute if God has told me that as a Christian I am to no longer be part of this World, that my mission is to abide by His Law and ways and to try to convert as many as I can find that will listen to Him .....what then would you think and wouldn't yoiu be in the same position that I am in now....
but I do not think I am putting pearls before as swine otherwise I would not tryNo. There's a difference between seeing someone as an equal human being who you want to minister to, and seeing them as nothing more than a target for ministry. The latter is doubly pernicious when combined with 'pearls before swine' thinking.
I think there's hope for everyone, and that's sort of the point.I like the take on it in Luke 14:15-24, especially verses 21 - 23 :
21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.
23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
I know this post is off topic but in light of what you posted here, this passage came to mind and of anything ever written in the Word, this told me there was hope for someone like me. I have been one of those in the streets and hedges.
be that as it may, it has absolutely nothing to do with their ability to mod. There are certain things non christians can't see or even understand about christian ways. Always have been, always will be. For their minds have not been enlighten to the hidden secrets of God and His Word.. Truth must be revealed and accepted. If it is not then one remains in darkness and will not enter into Heaven. I know this may seem very closed minded but the only way to enter in is to be enlightened. And the only way to be enlightened is to accept Christ as ones Savior.
Again I see the claim; rendered null and void by the insinuation that nonChristians aren't as good or worthy as Christians.
No matter who is in charge or what percentage of Christians are in the membership, if the site operates on principles of bigotry, then it's a site of bigotry and not one of Christianity.
but we are not talking about that now Kimbe that as it may, it has absolutely nothing to do with their ability to mod.
I thought we were talking about the vision for cf and moderation happened to be ONE of the subjects being discussed but not the only oneoh aren't we?
If the insinuation of bigotry is that Christianity is a more noble and spiritually pure paradigm than atheism, then yes, this is a bigotted site, and I am a bigot. I'd rather be thought a bigot by an atheist than to have Jesus think, "Begon from me, I never knew you."
