CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Why why WHY do people do ignorant things like this? It only fuels the wide spread perception that pro-life people are a bunch of extremist wack jobs and hacking a web site doesn't do a whole lot for your moral credibility.

How is this supposed to change my mind? What this tells me is that at least some pro-life people are willing to lie, cheat, and steal, to promote their agenda.

I am not against the displaying of gross images to get the point across myself.

The problem is that, if they're willing to hijack someone's site, then I can't trust them to be producing anything relevant. Do I have any knowledge that the baby they show wasn't dead before the abortion? No. Can I trust these people not to be lying? No. They have shown a total disregard for basic ethics; I can't trust them.

Give me a break. What is partial birth abortion if not that? Exactly that. You ever read Norma McCrae's book, however you spell it.......the one who who was Roe vs Wade, and she worked in an abortion office for years, and she went pro-life too.......

Can I trust them to be relevant to the questions I'm asking? Do they have any images of a two-week embryo?
Are the pictures on these sites representative of the abortions which happen in the world, or are they carefully selected to be the "worst"?
Do they show only voluntary abortions, or do they include those deemed medically necessary? Do they have pictures of people who died of complications from childbirth that could have been predicted and prevented?
I never trust anyone who tells only one side of a story.

Abortion is one topic that I get very heated about.
I could never support pro-choice. I think it's demented, wrong, and selfish, and it probably ranks right up there with the Top 10 Sin List...whatever that may be...
Folks, abortion is wrong. I don't care what anyone says. A person can justify it as much as they want.
Killing innocent babies is murder. And people will say whatever they will say to try to justify it to theirselves.
Pro-choice = murder. If you support pro-choice, you support murder.
Quite frankly, if you call yourself a Christian, and you support pro-choice, you better get on your knees and pray.
Don't ever sit here and let me hear that you profess to be a Christian and that you support murder. That's blasphemy.
