'KIRK MCATEAR,is from Newcastle,Australia and has been in fulltime ministry since 1999. From 1999-2008,,he served as Youth Pastor and Associate Pastor. His roles in this time involved leading young generation groups, kids, youth and young adults. He also led Youth Alive for the Newcastle,Australia region, working with thirty churches and seeing events of thousands of young people attending and being saved. Kirk and Tracee with a team pioneered a new campus of the church and saw it grow and it is still going on today. Kirk also served as Sports Chaplain to the Newcastle,Australia Knights Rugby League Teams. In 2000,Kirk and Tracee felt God calling them to the United Kingdom and Europe. Kirk's father was born in Scotland,so it was like God was sending them back to the lands of his father. Through a few God orchestrated contacts Kirk was connected with Kings Christian Centre in Birmingham. In 2009 Kirk and Tracee and their two children,Josiah and Ruby sold everything they owned and said goodbye to their families to follow the call of God to become the new pastors of the church in Birmingham. Since coming, they both repurposed the church that was pioneered in 1940,rebranding to Connect Church and moving their services to St Andrew's Football Stadium in 2014. Kirk became the Club Chaplain of Birmingham City Football Club in 2013. In 2017 the church started construction of a brand new 500 seat church building,on a site right next door to the Stadium. Kirk has always been a part of Assemblies of God in Australia and then UK and served four years as a Zone Leader in the Central UK area. Kirk sees himself as a missionary to the United Kingdom and Europe and has ministered in twenty one nations. His passion is to see every believer mobilised into mission. Kirk loves living in England and especially sports. When Australia play England,he always wins,as he is a dual citizen. One of his favourite times of the week is when the music for Match of the Day starts playing on Sunday night' (AOG GB)

Paul Firmor from Deal has been helping to support emergency service workers in times of crisis, like this one. His work as a service Chaplain for South East Coast has seen him attend de-briefs for services, accidents, suicides and children's deaths. Paul has been awarded a 20 year's voluntary Long Service award after two decades of supporting staff and his fellow volunteers. He was given a glass shield at a formal dinner, prior to the Coronavirus lockdown..' (AOG GB FaceBook)

New Life Christian Church,Abercarn, Caerphilly, South Wales, have been adapting to changing needs of community,by shifting outreach methods, like Wednesday toddler group, that is not meeting in person,at this time, but has been replaced by a scheme providing babypacks, containing nappies, wipes etc,so that those who were being supplied on Wednesdays, are still being looked after. Hadyn Jefferies and a small group of volunteers from the church are providing parcels of food and household products to those in need. They have helped to pay small bills by topping up gas and electricity cards,as well as making phone calls to vulnerable and older people in their community. They also received funding from GAVO grant to cover the cost of food parcels. Also Gareth and Hannah Jenkins and the Leadership Team at Newbridge AOG Church, generously supported them and paid their mortgage for two months to allow them to achieve this. God is amazing!'
