Asking for prayer

Thanks everyone for the prayers. I'm going to my primary doctor next week, the insurance company said he could fill out the paperwork for short term disability and I think he will if I talk to him.

I have been referred to another surgeon. I have an appointment on December 10th. I don’t know how long it will take to schedule the surgery.
I have been approved for short term disability from 9/25 to 11/7. That’s only 6 weeks though, short term disability is supposed to cover 12 weeks.
I emailed them and asked if another claim will start on 11/7.
I have applied for some work from home jobs and have an interview today. If I’m sitting home doing nothing this will give me something to do and I might make some money.
I took enough out of retirement to last 5 months

I signed up to get training to study for the insurance exam with the company I was talking to and I still have access to the training so I’m studying for the exam to get my license as a back up plan in case I can’t go back to my job

The site director called me about my pay and told me to call the girl in HR. She told me again that my leave was approved and that a new FMLa claim would start when I have my surgery. Maybe it’s true what people keep telling me, they want me to keep my job because good help is very difficult to find
I am still going to get my insurance license just in case the surgery doesn’t fix the problem

Lord, let the cancer go in remission, help her not to be sick from the chemo and give her many more years of life.

I started having leg pain last year and thought I had pulled a muscle. The pain started to move around and became unbearable at night. The only relief I could get was to put ice packs on my leg and take pain pills. My Doctor told me I had nerve pain and I had an MRI and have several issues with my back but what is causing the most pain is arthritis pressing on nerves and bad facet joints. I have had two epidural shots in my back and it has helped. I have to have one more before I can have Radio Frequency Ablation. This will deaden the nerves for 6 months to a year. There is a problem with my insurance and I have been held up in getting the next shot. I am starting a new job in 3 weeks that will require a lot of standing and walking. I really need to do well at this job so I need to be pain free. Please pray that I can get my next shot before I start the new job, that I will be pain free and that I do well at my new job. I hope this doesn't sound selfish because I know there are people who need prayer who have bigger problems. But I am trusting God in everything, starting a new job is a big step I have been at my current job 14 years. When my leg flares up I am putting DMSO on my back and leg and that is helping. I really appreciate your prayers and I know they work. My name is Randy and I thank you all in advance for your prayers. God bless you.

My surgery is 12/23. They are doing a laminectomy and putting screws at L4-L5.
I will have to be careful when I start working out again

Had surgery today. Praying that I don't have pain, the leg pain goes away and that I don't worry or have anxiety.

There is still pain in my leg and back but I'm doing okay.
It looks like the insurance company is going to deny long term disability because of a preexisting condition.
I will send in the paperwork and see what happens.
I'm praying for the pain to go away and for me to be able to go back to work at my job
