  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Before I joined this forum I was quite ill and I thought I was out of the woods with all that has been going on in my body. However, the other day I went to take my sister in law out that has been terminally ill and I had to haul the wheel chair around and when I did it seemed to set me off again. I have a new job of course they haven't given me any hours yet but I need to be able to work but I am also struggling with being ill and I also discovered a lump in my stomach.

I have struggled with Hemolytic Anemia (where the red cells get eat up by the White blood cells, Elevated Rheumatoid factor, High Triglycerides, Liver tests messed up, and basically the whole immune system out of sync and the liver and the spleen were scanned and not normal and the pancreas need healed and I thought I was getting better until now but today I have been in this unbearable pain.

I did go back to the doctor last Thursday when I first noticed I was feeling unwell and he examined the lump and said--A non-cancerous tumor, he felt fairly certain...but he ordered a lot of blood work up because I am also iron deficient anemic as well as Hemolytic anemic. I am tired all the time but I don't permit myself to sleep only hours that are sleeping because I don't want to just sleep life away.

I do not take narcotics and the Ibuprofen I am taking is not even phasing some of the discomfort I am in.

I do not make sense when I am in this condition and it is much harder to get along with others because I am irrational, depressed, and think with a hurting body and don't know it often until I get the reactions from others.

Thank you for your prayers.

Father I lift up Newsong with everyone here. Grant her healing and deep refreshment of her body, mind, and spirit. Grant her a reprieve from what is causing the disorder and renew her red blood cells and strengthen them. When we do not know what to do we turn to You. We do so with Newsong. May Your grace strengthen and sustain her in the merciful name of Yeshua, amen.

This verse has been a blessing and dear to my heart in so many ways. It is my prayer that it is comforting to you, dear sis, as well.

Psalm 116:1-7

I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.
The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came upon me; I was overcome by trouble and sorrow. Then I called on the name of the LORD: "O LORD, save me!"
The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. The LORD protects the simplehearted; when I was in great need, he saved me.
Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you.

NewSong,
when do you meet with your doctor in person?

I suffered with severe anemia last year - and I have NO idea how you manage to "keep normal" sleep patterns! You are soooooo strong, in soooo many ways! What a blessing you are to all of us - especially at the Kitchen Table (Brinny? Can I get an :amen: ?)

Continuing to lift you up. I know the Lord is using this time of trial in a wonderful way and will show His glory.

And ya know - I ALWAYS have a pot of cyber-coffee on! ;)

I'm praying that God reveals to you dear sister that His promises are real-er than any present circumstances and that there is infinite evidences to belive them that He will, in His tender mercies and loving kindness reveal them to you at just the right time, and in the meantime He will minister to your heart, mind, spirit, and body with unexpected delights that bring you joy and comfort. May the Lifter of our heads hold you close and tenderly quiet your sobs and dry your tears as He rocks you in His arms. Father may it be so, in the precious name of our Yeshua, amen.

Love,
Brenda

Dear Father,

I pray for NewSong Lord that she might be healed of these illnesses. I pray for strength for her and that you would give the doctors wisdom in treating her. Please help them to best know how to help. Watch over her and keep her safe Lord, and take away her pain or ease her pain I pray.

Help her in her spirit and grant peace and rest in you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
