CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No, it's way too soon for that. But as soon as I can find out (I believe around week 20), I plan to. I don't understand waiting. I've read people say that if you tell people (and know yourself) the gender and name picked, there's no surprise and it's not fun for people when the baby is born. I think those people are silly at best. I mean, how is the child itself not enough joy for all?

Yes.
I don't know. Right now, it makes the most sense financially, since daycare is expensive. I'd like to go back to work (even if it's unpaid) at some point, though.

Daycare is incredibly expensive, especially for infants. The other plus of being a SAHM is getting to be there for all the firsts.

You should live in Sweden then. The cost of day care depends on your income, but the most you would ever pay is around $150 a month, but usually less then that. And day cares are open from either 6 or 6:30AM and close at either 6 or 6:30PM.

Sweden has always sounded nice to me.
I have no idea. You would think I'd know since I haven't bought that many (I used to just listen to the radio and now listen to music online with pandora or youtube), but I don't.

No, I don't. I'm not sure why, but I don't really remember pre-school (when I was 4) or kindergarten. I remember things of that age, but not school so much.

I don't know. Maybe I'll ask my husband.
I don't think I could just listen to one forever. There's no song I love that much. My favorites constantly change. Though I suppose hymns are different, so maybe How Great Thou Art.
