How'd you learn about the Faith?

(Always great meeting another convert! )


Actually, it may seem a bit odd, but it is my interest in ancient history, particularly the Byzantine Empire, that piqued my interest in Orthodoxy. I believe the Truth can be found in many of the Christian faiths, but for me it was going back to the very roots of Christianity, how it was practiced in the first days of the Church. For me that brings me a little closer to Christ.

Do you trust a lot of people?
To one degree or another, I tend to give at least some measure of trust to most people till given a reason not to. Total trust though? No, just two people I can think of on that level.

Are you forgiving?
I'd like to think I am. Its hardest forgiving those who are rude and malicious without provocation. I say to myself "I forgive them", but honestly sometimes there's a little bit of sore feelings that takes a while to let go of.

What's going on tomorrow?
A meeting. Other than that, I need to make a run to Petco.

Are you in a good mood?
Yes. I usually am, or at least try to be! Interestingly, the more challenges and difficulties I face in life, the more I learn to appreciate and enjoy the pleasures God grants us.

What was the last thing you laughed at?
That would be my cat.

Do you tend to get lost driving?
No - I'm a guy!

Do you have a mental illness of choice (if you had to have one)?
OCD!

What is the last thing you said aloud?
lol, "OCD"... sometimes I talk aloud what I'm typing.

A girl who speaks French!

A picture of an actress I ran into in Milwaukee.. and for the life of me, I can't think of her name. She played the elf in the movie, Dungeons & Dragons.

Tornados -.-

And you're afraid of that because?
I have a slight penchant for retaining my life and tornados aren't conducive to longevity.

Not really "mad". A bit disgusted with, yes. Mean people... what can I say.

No, nor glasses though these days some reading glasses might not be a bad idea.

Yes. Just enjoyed listening to one as I fell asleep last night.

No. And the TV show Myth Busters backed me up on that one. =P

Hmm. Probably driving my bicycle through a barbed-wire fence...

That depends. If I have a "bad" relationship with someone, I'd like to improve it. Other things I just like to appreciate.

Oh yes... started in 6th grade with my school friends and we've been playing pretty much every since, though mainly its just an excuse for us guys to get together every Saturday to hang out on 'Guys Night'.

Favorite vacation spot: the Greek isles

Is there gold at the end of the rainbow?: My mother said there was! (do you know how many times as a kid I went tracking down the elusive "end" of a rainbow????)

Favorite dish to eat? Filet Mignon, medium rare, along with a fully loaded baked potato.

Favorite Bible verse: That would probably have to be the one in my signature right now.

Do you work out?: Yes - I run and I just started hitting the weights again.

My favorite season: Easy - winter. Love it!
