CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

well the serpent is responding to eve about the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. She says that God will said they would "die" if they ate of it and the serpent tells her no she will not die but her eyes will be opened. I think God was talking about sin will kill their relationship with Him (spiritual death= their relationship with God was severed) and satan tries to turn eve against God by using "die" to mean physical death(making it seem that God is a liar). he(satan) is trying to make eve see eating of the tree as a good thing= she's not gonna die in the physical sense and she will obtain knowledge of good and evil. But as we know, satan is the father of all lies, so he was twisting God's words and making sin sound good for his own purposes.
