I don't have any pets now (Unless you count Skjöldur sitting up there in the upper left corner.) When I was a kid, I had a turtle and a friend once gave me a pet rock.

My turtle didn't have a name but I named my pet rock Steinn which is an Icelandic name that means rock. Skjöldur is and Icelandic name that means shield. The Icelandic word for turtle means "shield back".

I have been saved for just over 32 years, since the fall of 1973. I was 15 years old then. But looking back, I can see God working in me at least 5 years before that, probably even back to when I was 4.

When (not if) I meet that special someone, I will place the relationship in God's hands and ask him to guide us. If it is His will, He will show us both that it's right. I don't know how He will show us but, I know He will.

I do know a few things qualities the right one will have. She will have all the qualities that I have asked God for.

1. She will be a born again Christian.
2. She will love me the way I am, in spite of my faults.
3. She will love me enough to point out my faults and help me better myself.
4. Her faith has to be similar (not necessarily identical) to mine. (Some of my beliefs are not quite what you might call "standard". For example, I belive we should celebrate the biblical festivals rather than Christmas and Easter which have pagan origins.)

What about children? Do you want any? What if the woman the Lord brings you doesn't want any or already has kids?

I love kids. I don't expect to have any kids of my own though. If she already has kids, I would love them as if they were my own. If she doesn't want more kids than she already has or if she doesn't want any at all, I can handle that. It wouldn't be a deal breaker.

I'm the systems administrator at an elementaray school (grades 1-10). We have about 100 computers and 600 students.

I don't know about Love Languages but, I express my love in a number of ways. I do things for peopls (anything from fixing things or helping around the house to giving giftst or going out to dinner together and everything in between), I try to be supportive by lending a sympathetic ear or a shoulder to cry on and I love hugging and kissing.

Have you always lived in Iceland?

No. I've lived in a few places. I was born in Iceland but moved to Sweden for a year when I was about 2 1/2 years old. Then we moved back to Iceland for a while and when I was 4 we moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. I lived there until I was 17 (except for the summers when we went back to Iceland.) I've lived in Iceland ever since then.

hi Theo, how is everything with you? Good I hope. I was curious about your country. Is Christianity the main religion of Iceland? Also was wondering if Iceland is mostly countryside with a few big cities or not. Guess I kind of picture it as a frozen tundra type of place ( probably because of the name Iceland ) I probably should have paid more attention in geography class huh
